DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Visibility | Impact | Brand | Engagement (VIBE) Team focuses on creating unforgettable customer experiences, delivering best-in-class industry education, and strengthening relationships with our valued manufacturing partners. With several events every month, we are looking for an energetic and organized Event Manager to join the team and help us elevate every touchpoint. This position is exempt with an annual salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Event Manager – this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing customer-facing events, educational sessions, and factory visits that reflect the MMS brand and VIBE mission. You’ll manage everything from monthly Symposiums and manufacturer training to large-scale experiences like our annual Golf Tournament, Open House, factory trips, and fishing/hunting excursions while adhering to financial budgets and guidelines.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and manufacturers to ensure every detail is executed with precision and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Own the full event lifecycle: planning, logistics, execution, and post-event wrap-up
  • Coordinate monthly and annual events, including but not limited to:
    • Monthly PDH Symposiums
    • Factory visits + customer experience trips
    • Annual MMS Golf Tournament and Open House
    • Fishing, hunting, and other MMS-hosted experiences
  • Develop and manage event timelines, task lists, and checklists
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, internal sales staff, and AIR marketing
  • Secure venues, transportation, accommodations, food & beverage, A/V, and supplies
  • Create and manage budgets, track invoices & and event related expenses
  • Collect and evaluate post event feedback for constant improvement
  • Represent the MMS brand with professionalism and attention to detail at all events
  • Assist with internal scheduling and coordination across multiple departments
Ideal Candidates will satisfy the following Job Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality
  • Experience managing multiple events at once (ideally 50+ per year)
  • Strong knowledge of event logistics, vendor management, and customer experience design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management tools (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Bonus: Familiarity with HVAC industry, PDH processes, or manufacturer relationships
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated planners who thrive in fast paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage details, timelines, and expectations
  • Creative thinkers who enjoy solving problems and enhancing experiences
  • Comfortable working on-site at events, working occasionally outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
Working Conditions and Frequency
Most work is completed in an office environment with occasional outdoor activities and events.
